We have been assigned a task to explore the equality act 2010. Based on race, gender, disability, religion, Faith and belief, age and.sexuality.
The equality act 2010 provides a single consolidated source of discrimination law, covering all types of discrimination that are unlawful.
I have to select one or a number of the above subjects from the areas associatef with the theme of Equality and Diversity, I have to create 2/3 images that promote awareness/celebrations. The final image should be captured in a studio environment with the view that in will be exhibited.
I think I will explore celebrating equality and diversity as there are so many out there already raising awareness.
During our research on the equality act we were introduced to an.artist by the name of Jessica Hilltout.

The statement in image 1 to me means there is beauty in everything and everyone, regardless of race, gender, disability and religion.
A great example would be street photography, to.the naked eye it looks like an.image of a street with people in. If you begin to train your mind/eye to look aesthetically you.see beyond the surface and see the beauty in people, interactions between them and the street.
